General Description

MedLearn Media is looking for a motivated, professional and organized Inside Sales Representative who is responsible for obtaining and closing new business for the organization and works within core offerings at MedLearn Media which includes educational content for healthcare providers throughout the US. The Inside Sales Representative will be tasked with growing the client base by prospecting through outbound phone calling and using multiple methods to meet with new prospects, focusing on provider settings that have a traditional smaller annual buy or are new to the organization.

Individuals successful in this position have the outstanding ability to work both independently and within a team environment, have excellent communications and customer relations skills with proven ability to communicate with end users which may include managers, directors and executives, and be knowledgeable about the needs required to solve the business challenges of the client.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and execute a planned approach by creating a sales plan for accounts and contacts to target, activities, and milestones leading to the generation of sales.
  • Managing and progressing a qualified pipeline of opportunities by prioritizing assigned accounts and contacts and advancing opportunities with a disciplined and organized approach.
  • Understand what’s working and what’s not to make necessary adjustments in the sales approach or activity levels to achieve sales team revenue
  • Submit forecasts and pipeline reports to management on a timely basis.
  • Identify shortfalls and develop plans to ensure sales plans are achieved.
  • Effectively qualifying and prioritize opportunities to pursue

Job Purpose 

MedLearn MedLearn Media promises to provide healthcare providers throughout the nation the kind of timely, relevant news and educational information that helps to improve their coding accuracy, understand the complexities of regular compliance and meet their overall financial initiatives.  

The role of the Marketing Production Assistant provides support and production management to the development and execution of a variety of editorial and marketing-based projects and initiatives including the production of two long running broadcasts (live podcasts), Talk Ten Tuesday and Monitor Monday, which have a captive and loyal audience of healthcare professionals. 

The candidate must be high energy and able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail with a strong sense of meeting timelines and deadlines in a fast-paced industry. They must work well under pressure to ensure that webcasts and broadcasts run smoothly and efficiently, and web content is output on time.

As a rapidly growing company, it’s important that the candidate have an entrepreneurial attitude, an embracing mindset toward change and can manage/prioritize multiple concurrent projects.

This position will report to the Digital Marketing Manager, work collaboratively with other departments and continuously strive to evolve our digital channels, keeping up to date on communication best practices.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Online Content and Podcast/Broadcast Production – 40%

  • Set up and run weekly broadcasts through web-based platforms.
  • Pre-broadcast preparation which includes compiling and deploying run down, scripts and slates. 
  • Post-broadcast preparation which includes post show reports and analytics for team
  • Loading of content to websites including broadcasts while developing and deploying post emails 
  • Assist with making decisions on changes to web, print or broadcast and webcast collateral or schedule
  • Create and deploy polls and surveys, compile and report on results 
  • Segment content from broadcast and webcasts for YouTube and ecommerce solutions 
  • Coordinate, set up and deploy online content and news (news, Special Bulletins) 
  • Place ads within online content as directed by team 
  • Report on analytics with online content deployment 
  • Ensure quality is maintained throughout each format of content release

Marketing Production Assistance – 60%

  • Preparation, coordination and deployment of emails and other marketing functions such as social, direct mail, web, and ecommerce
  • Handle customer list creation and segmentation, personalization and messaging, scheduling, for email marketing 
  • Optimize produced content across various channels to increase content reach
  • Google analytics and AdWords support and assistance 
  • Creation of basic artwork as needed for marketing initiatives as they pertain to deliverables (as needed)
  • Process and system improvements put in place for automation, integration and other workflow systems 
  • Provide metrics and analysis campaign performance across different channels

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, or another related field 
  • Experience in/knowledge of email marketing 
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Active Campaign, CoSchedule, and WordPress is a plus
  • Has experience with Google Analytics and Google Data studio for reporting.
  • Possesses strong attention to detail for testing, proofreading, and editing capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook and CRM experience required
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadline pressure and in complex environments.
  • High level of problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

MedLearn Media, a specialized healthcare publishing and media firm, that provides high‐level, in‐depth resources and education to healthcare providers throughout the nation, seeks a Managing Editor, who is ultimately the champion and product manager to lead the vision and direction for the product and content development team for the organization. Part product manager, part writer and editor, part production director  – the Managing Editor is responsible for multiple roles to ensure MedLearn Media’s audience benefits from the highest quality content and education that helps to improve their coding accuracy and understand the rules and regulations that can impact their financial initiatives. The Managing Editor, with members of the senior leadership team, drives the vision, strategy, and execution of the annual content plan to reach defined quarterly/monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial and Production Management
  • Manage the development and direction of content assets, that drives initiatives to maximize our content on a variety of channels.
  • Provides editorial vision, guides staff in the execution of that vision and evolves the vision over time as appropriate.
  • Manage, recruit and lead an external editorial team and community of thought leaders/contributors to meet quality, topic, and delivery goals for
  • Develop and manage project and content development workflow for creating, editing, publishing, and curating content, including digitization of content.
  • Ensure that products meet and exceed the highest standards.
  • Develop personal and company industry presence and reputation for thought leadership via blogging, writing, video stories, podcasts,
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including content/research contributors, sources, research partners/sponsors and
  • Develop and manage content quality metrics and guidelines for brand consistency.
