Radiology Compliance Question of the Week

Question:

For reporting MRA procedures, is it required to have 3-D post-processing stated in the report?

Answer:

When coding/billing for MRA procedures, unlike the documentation recommended to support code assignment for CTA billing, it is not required that 3-D post-processing be defined in the dictated report.
