Question:

Can we use a code from the series 96360-96379 when billing for the administration of a chemotherapy drug?

Answer:

Do not use CPT® codes from the drug administration series 96360–96379 when billing for the administration of a chemotherapy drug or anti-neoplastic agent, even if the physician provides a non-cancer diagnosis.
