Can we use flow cytometry series of codes to bill for absolute cell counts for those not requiring interpretation if they are performed by flow cytometry?

Answer:

Do not use the flow cytometry series of codes to bill for absolute cell counts (not requiring interpretation) performed by flow cytometry. Absolute counts are coded from the immunology series, 86355 through 86367.
