Question:

When would I report 96361?

Answer:

When the primary intent of the encounter is hydration therapy, 96361 would be reported only if the time requirement for billing an additional hour has been met (the total time is more than 90 minutes).

96361 Intravenous infusion, hydration; each additional hour (List separately in addition to code for primary procedure)
