Question:

How are Medicare PTP edits and CCI edits different? 

Answer:

They are not different because the current procedure-to-procedure (PTP) edits were originally the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits. Now, the NCCI umbrella includes PTP edits plus medically unlikely edits (MUE) and add-on-code edits.
