What code or codes would be reported when the cardiologist performs stenting of a branch of the LAD (diagonal) and stenting of a branch of the right coronary (posterior descending)?

Answer:

Since the two-branch interventional procedures were performed on two separate major coronary arteries, two primary stenting codes (92928 LD, 92928 RC) would be reported. Coronary modifiers (LD, LC, RC, LD, RI, LM) inform the carriers that these are separate major coronary arteries.
