Question:

Can endovascular therapy codes 61624 and 61650 be reported together?

Answer:

For claims with dates of service (DOS) on and after April 1, 2016, you may report these codes together. Effective on that date, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) deleted the national correct coding initiative (CCI) procedure-to-procedure edits that prohibited billing intracranial embolization codes 61624 and 61626 with 61650.
