Cardiology Compliance Question of the Week

In the instance when more than one site in the same vessel is treated with percutaneous transluminal coronary thrombectomy (+92973), is it appropriate to report for each site treated?

From a CPT® coding perspective, code +92973 should be reported one time per vessel, regardless of the number of sites treated in the same vessel.
